Donning of Kente

I have had the opportunity to undertake a project for the CBAN (Coker Black Alumni Network), the Office of Alumni Engagement and The Center for Diversity, Interfaith & Inclusion conduction with BOLD men and the Circle of Sisterhood at Coker University as part of my client work portfolio.

What is it?

The Donning of the Kente (DOK) is a cultural achievement ceremony celebrating the graduation of students who recognize their African roots. The ceremony utilizes the Kente cloth as a symbol of African American heritage.

A part of this particular event, I was tasked with designing an 8.5x11 flyer, a program, as well as 16 PowerPoint slides.
